IANNIS "FOGGED" LOUCAS:

The Singapore Major is just a few days away, and it's not just the players that are missing the tournament. The talent crew is also missing out. Although the talent crew was expected to travel for this week's the tournament, Ioannis Loucas has decided not to go to the Singapore Major. His girlfriend was positive for coronavirus, and he has been sickly since the weekend. However, the results from his tests are still not in. Fogged was also not able to take part in coverage online in January. Fogged was scheduled to attend DreamLeague studios for the Europe and CIS Dota professional Circuit leagues. But, at the moment, he was turned away at the Swedish border.

T1

South Korean-based T1 T1 announced through Twitter T1 on Twitter that Carlo "Kuku" Palad would not join the team to the tournament. Kuku is also suffering from medical issues. Instead, the company is bringing its first Dota 2 player, Lee "Forev" Sang-don, to serve as an alternative. In a set of deleted posts by Kuku the player, he revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Forev was with several members of the current T1 roster and played for the team from 2019 through 2020. Forev has lots of experience of Dota 2 roster changes which means this isn't the biggest hit for T1. But a roster change at any time could have an impact.

The team was recently removed Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon. As a result of Kuku's absence from the team, T1 will now take part in the Singapore Major with two different players in comparison to the squad it qualified for the event.

If they haven't yet left, teams participating in the Singapore Major will likely depart within the next few days. International teams that arrive in the country will not be forced to remain in quarantine for more than 14 days. Instead, they'll have to take a COVID-19 test and go through a 48-hour isolation time upon arrival in the country. They must also follow an exact schedule during their stay.

This is the first off-line Dota 2 tournament since March 2020. Los Angeles Major was the final offline Dota 2 event. It was postponed midway due to the pandemic.
