Elizabeth & Guillermo

Elizabeth Kelly Rapalee was born on August 28, 1988 in Ohio, USA. She is the only daughter of Clark Rapalee and Andrea Reedy, but is very close to her younger half-sisters, Julia and Olivia Reedy, daughters of Andrea and James Reedy. Elizabeth was a very happy child who loved singing, reading, and spending time with her extended family.

Elizabeth attended Medina High School in Medina, Ohio, where she excelled at math, literature, and social studies. She graduated with honors in 2007, 9th overall and 1st in social studies.

Elizabeth's hard work in high school earned her a full merit-based scholarship to Miami University of Ohio. There, she studied economics and international studies. Elizabeth also served as an RA in the international dormitory and worked as a student aid in the Programs Office.

After a year and a half in Buenos Aires with Guille, Elizabeth is back in Medina, Ohio. She works as an Assistant Account Manager at Loan Protect when she's not busy planning her wedding.

Guillermo Andres Akerman was born on January 24, 1990 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is the second son of Ruben Akerman and Viviana Susterman, younger brother to Damian Akerman and older brother to Juan Akerman. As a child, Guille loved to read comic books, play video games, and spend time with his brothers.

Guille attended Jean Piaget High School in Neuquén, Argentina, where he cultivated his interest in technology before graduating in 2007.

After graduating from high school, Guille went on to study computer programming at a technical institute in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Aside from computer programming, his favorite classes were English classes. While in school, Guille also worked full time as a programmer at Hewlett Packard, among other positions.

After a year and a half in Buenos Aires with Elizabeth, Guille is anxiously waiting to join her in the United States and start building a life in Cleveland, Ohio. Until then, he is working as a computer programmer at Globant, Inc.
