Question_mark Question:

On the table cards you put out for the dinner reception: how do you write them out and what do you put inside them?

Answer:

Great question! Each table card is meant to tell the guests which table they're sitting at, so you'd write them out like this:

Mr. & Mrs. Scott Smith
Table 7

Single guests at a formal wedding can have their cards read:
Mr. Scott Smith
Table 7

At a less formal wedding, you can write them out like this:

Scott and Shelly Smith
Table 7

or

Scott Smith
Table 7

You don't have to write anything inside them. The simpler the better.

Just be sure to write these cards out by hand, and DON'T use computer printed labels. It just looks nicer, and you can use a great colored marker or calligraphy pen to give your cards a touch of extra style.
