Walden Pond

Attraction

Walden Pond was made famous around the world by Thoreau's book Walden, which chronicled the author's time living in a one-room cabin on the side of the pond from 1845 to 1847.

Walden Pond State Reservation includes 462 acres of protected open space, which are ideal for hiking, swimming, and just appreciating the beauty of nature. (Or skinny dipping at midnight...just ask Jared.)

Lauren and Jared's Wedding Map

Welcome to our wedding map! We are excited to have the opportunity to show you around our old hometown. As you all know, Concord, MA, holds a pretty special place in our hearts, and we're really looking forward to celebrating our wedding there on October 11, 2009.

Thank you to everyone who is coming in from out of town -- especially those making the trek from the west coast or beyond. Our hope is that this map gives you a flavor of our old stomping grounds and gets you pumped up for a visit yourself!
