Black Bunny Bakery

We had a 2 tier (half made of styrofoam) cutting cake and 200 cupcakes. The cake and the display was awesome! Everyone LOVED the cupcakes. Kara was great, she setup everything perfectly and we were so happy with everything she provided. Easy to work with and a wonderful product!

We were married in the Caribbean in the spring with a planned post wedding reception in the form of a catered clambake for friends and family in York Beach in August.

Having no experience looking for a wedding cake vendor, I went online and found Kara and the Black Bunny Bakery. The website is what initially sold us. The array of cakes, their design and deions were mouth watering. Our initial visit with Kara was much more than just professional. Her inspiring creative mind along with the detail taken to design our cake and the time spent to meet our needs was to say the least, impresive. We had a beach themed porcelain wedding cake topper. Kara took that and designed a wedding cake that was to die for.

It was then that we knew we had found a gem and there was no need to go elsewhere in our search.

Our guests raved about not only the beautiful design, detail and look of the cake (it was too perfect to cut) but the amazing flavor and freshness of it. I would highly recommend working with Kara and would never go anywhere else.

Kara at Black Bunny was the sweetest, most accomodating vendor we worked with. She takes the ultimate pride in her work and uses only the best ingredients to create her delicious cakes, fillings, and frostings. She is very creative and loves to create beautiful works of art. Her talent was evident not only in the elegant white cake she made for our wedding cake, but also in the groom's cake shaped like a classic '55 chevy! She replicated the picture to a T and our guests were amazed! I will continue to use Black Bunny for all of my bakery needs!
