As a Life Event Celebrant, I would be happy to provide you with Civil or Spiritual ceremony examples and ideas. I enjoy creating heartfelt ceremonies for couples not using a local church, but a personally selected venue and your ceremony can be from a simple elopement to elegantly written prose about your relationship. Any size of wedding you choose, we will discuss all of your options and wedding day ideas until you are completely comfortable. My goal is to create 'The Experience' that you will cherish for a lifetime and I am here to make this day as unique and memorable as the two of you.
After completing 'Wedding Minister Certification' program and being accepted by both the American Association of Wedding Officiants and the National Association of Wedding Ministers; I have officiated over a 100 ceremonies as of 2008. I know how important it is to make sure that everyone is comfortable whether in the wedding ceremony or as a guest.
Although most of my ceremonies are in the Salem/Albany Area at the local vineyards and venues... I would be more than happy to assist you at the location of your choice (within the state of Oregon).

Short notice ceremonies will be accommodated whenever possible, however I will be happy to provide referrals if a scheduling conflict is present. I can be reached anytime during the day or evening as this is second only to my family and I do not have another career to schedule around. If I do not answer your call right away, please be sure to leave me a message as I am either on the road, currently with a couple or working with another vendor and wish to give them the respect of not interrupting with a ringing phone. I will return your call as soon as I am finished, and almost always within the same business day unless it is late.
I do look forward to the opportunity of meeting prospective couples and would be happy to at my office in Salem and I always suggest to personally interview more than one officiant to be sure that the match in personalities is strong. Remember, your officiant is the person who will set the tone for your wedding ceremony and your new life together, and wouldn’t you want it to be a pleasant one...

Johanna was a relief, after hearing one story after another of Officiants who added their "Own Touches" to ceremonies (Prayers and Bible readings that were not what the couples wanted) we were concerned. Johanna went over EVERY aspect of the ceremony for our approval. Gave us many suggestions that took away so much stress and we even hired Johanna to do the Day of Coordination so that the family could relax and enjoy our day. We were taken care of from the first phone call to the clean up to the certified copy of our marriage license. We truly had an event to remember and we credit much of it to Johanna.
