Expert Advice from wedding guru, Sharon Naylor
Question:
Planning to get marreid in july 2013, I don't even know where to begin, I've been trying to make the guest list and I have decided to only allow children from the bride and grooms siblings only. Some people have been a little offended . How many brides maid am I suppose to have ?
Answer:
The choices are entirely up to you! And it is within your rights to allow just the kids of the bride and groom's siblings only. Most guests are used to that, and don't get offended.
However, at any wedding, there will be people who will find ANY excuse to be offended. It's their hobby, their way of sounding important when it comes to judging you and your wedding. So do what everyone else does and IGNORE THEM!!
You are in charge, and setting a rule about inviting kids is up to you. If other guests ask if they can bring their kids, just tell them you wish you could oblige, but you have space and budget chellenges, and you had to draw a serious line so that it would be fair to all guests. And encourage them to bring along a relative or sitter to stay in the hotel with the kids for a free vacation on you and a safe sitter situation for the kids.
Also, it's up to you how many bridesmaids you would like.
